DCIS 2021
XXXVI Conference on Design of Circuits and Integrated Systems

Dates: November 24-26th 2021, Vila do Conde, Portugal

Welcome to DCIS 2021

The Organizing Committee, Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, and IEEE warmly welcome you to the 36th Conference on Design of Circuits and Integrated Systems (DCIS 2021).

The DCIS conference is a forum organized annually since 1981. It is open to the presentation and discussion of new research results on the domain of electronic integrated circuits and systems, their diversified fields of application, enabling technologies, design methodologies and tools.

The DCIS 2021 motto is “Bridging Worlds and Ideas”. It expresses the fact that electronic circuits and systems enable the interconnectivity of people, different worlds (physical, chemical, biological, …), applications, and things in general. DCIS is also an event where the exchange of ideas is endorsed, not only during and after the technical presentations, but also in moments promoted to bring participants closer together along the event.

The DCIS 2021 technical program will give major emphasis to emerging topics including, but not limited to, electronic systems for artificial intelligence, unconventional computing, future and new paradigm communications, reliability of circuits and devices, biomedical and bio-inspired circuits and systems, smart systems for automotive.

Besides the specific topics addressed in regular papers and posters, the technical program will also include keynote speeches and special sessions devoted to emerging topics. The DCIS PhD competition gives students the opportunity to briefly present their research advances and discuss with the conference attendees.

We are thankful to all members of the Steering Committee, the Technical Program Committee, Reviewers, and technical assistance staff for contributing their time, knowledge and support.
